How Individuals Have Changed Their Lives With Therapy

Come On A Journey

.. from despair to hope

.. from slavery to freedom...

.. from abuse to empowerment

Journeys Through Life lets you travel life's many highways and back roads through the life experiences of three fellow travelers and Doc, their therapist. As you read, you may recognize your companions.... they may be your neighbors, your friends, your co-workers, or possibly one may be you.

Susan Saver, whose continual "helping" ends up hurting her marriage, her self-esteem, and her emotional stability.

Walker, a man whose fear of loss keeps him enslaved to an abusive employer in a no-win situation.

John, who battles the prison walls of low self-esteem and social anxiety built by his abusive, alcoholic father.

Sometimes comic, sometimes tragic, Journeys through Life demystifies the therapeutic process and presents some compelling reasons why self-help may not be enough.

I hope my book will motivate individuals who may be struggling with problems that are similar to those of the main characters to seek therapy. I believe that the book's format helps to demystify the therapeutic process and remove the stigma that is often attached to seeking help for psychological problems and relationship difficulties.
